Epic’s Fortnite Tech Desktop team seeks a skilled Engine Programmer to enhance the gameplay experience. You will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving performance issues, improving tool chains, and supporting various PC storefronts. Your insights will spearhead advancements in Unreal Engine systems specific to Fortnite.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve CPU and GPU compatibility and performance issues
• Upgrade platform tool chains and development tools
• Analyze and respond to live stability and performance data
• Support builds for Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store
• Collaborate with Epic teams to enhance project stability
Requirements:
• Proficient in C++ and multi-thread programming techniques
• Experience with large codebase profiling and optimization
• Strong troubleshooting skills for live game services
• Linux experience is advantageous for server code optimization
• OS-level systems knowledge preferred
