Position: Procedural Graphics Researcher - 12-Month Contract

The 12-month contract role is positioned within Huawei’s Central Media Technology Institute, focusing on enhancing media technology. The ideal applicant will possess a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science and three years of experience in crafting sophisticated shading graphics. You will be responsible for developing visual effects and creating technology demos to test innovative algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop shaders and procedural textures geometrically

• Validate algorithms through graphics demos and prototypes

• Optimize graphics performance on mobile platforms

• Automate the shading creation process with custom tools

• Bridge technical and artistic elements in graphics design

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science

• At least 3 years of related experience

• Solid foundation in mathematics and algorithm design

• Familiarity with OpenGL, Vulkan, or related APIs

• Proven portfolio or contributions to communities like Shader Toy
