Elevate customer experience with Dialpad as a Staff Software Engineer. Drive innovative backend solutions and own the platformization roadmap for shared services in this pivotal role.
At Dialpad, you will be a key architect responsible for decoupling functionality into reusable services. This role requires deep experience in distributed systems and the ability to write clear architectural documents while mentoring other engineers. You will also enhance productivity and security across our platforms in either Vancouver or Kitchener.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define 1-3 year roadmap for Shared Services
• Write clear architectural design documents for team understanding
• Provide estimates for technical resources on projects
• Drive execution of Shared Services platformization
• Develop well-tested features with low defect reports
Requirements:
• Strong experience as a backend-focused software engineer
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
• Deep experience architecting complex systems
• Proficiency in distributed systems and debugging
• Experience mentoring engineers in agile environments
