• Lead and mentor a diverse team of platform engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable platform solutions that support business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and data science, to align engineering efforts with strategic goals.
• Implement best practices for software development, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
• Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, ensuring optimal platform reliability and efficiency.
• Manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools that enhance platform capabilities and streamline engineering processes.
• Establish and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications that guide development efforts.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to promote code quality and team learning.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the platform and the business.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to pursue professional development and innovative solutions.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Dev Ops practices.
• Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and familiarity with modern web frameworks.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in the financial technology sector or a related industry.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design principles.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Previous involvement in open-source projects or contributions to the engineering community.
