Join the Information Technology team at Flair as a Full Stack Developer, where innovation, collaboration, and technology come together to build solutions that support both our customers and our business. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern web, mobile, API, and cloud-based applications. In this role, you will work across the technology stack to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that enhance customer-facing and internal business systems.
Working closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, QA, Dev Ops, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to developing digital experiences, system integrations, and technology platforms that drive operational efficiency and business growth. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and collaborative software professional who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role is located on-site at any of our offices in Calgary, AB (YYC), Edmonton, AB (YEG), Vancouver, BC (YVR), or Toronto, ON (YYZ).
A Day in the Life:As a Full Stack Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Build high-quality front-end and back-end solutions using modern frameworks, development standards, and engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal platforms and third-party systems to support reliable data and application workflows.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for applications, integrations, and development processes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, QA, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing delivery activities.
- Support application releases, deployments, and production readiness to ensure smooth and reliable delivery.
- Develop and maintain solutions running in cloud environments, with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated delivery processes, and modern software development practices.
- Partner with Dev Ops and infrastructure teams to improve application availability, monitoring, deployment, and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve development practices, delivery processes, application architecture, and overall engineering efficiency.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting web applications, APIs, and system integrations.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: .NET/C#, Python, Next.js, React, Type Script, or Flutter.
- Experience working with SQL and/or No
