Position: Senior Animation Programmer for R&D Team
Become a Senior Animation Programmer at CD PROJEKT RED in Vancouver, British Columbia. Contribute to the evolution of character animation systems in a hybrid or fully remote context.
As part of our R&D team, you will leverage your deep understanding of animation technology and tool development to innovate character animation systems. This role requires strong collaboration with machine learning specialists and creative animators to enhance animation features. Your expertise will ensure high standards in performance and usability across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain advanced character animation systems

• Collaborate with teams for quality animation feature development

• Optimize animation systems for user experience

• Prototype and test new animation methodologies

• Mentor and guide junior programmers through coding standards
Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years in game programming with a focus on animation

• High proficiency in C++ and related optimizations

• Deep knowledge of 3D animation and rigging techniques

• Experience with Unreal Engine or similar platforms

• Strong mathematics skills in vector and linear algebra
