We're looking for a passionate UI Software Engineer for a contract role in Vancouver. You'll architect and implement high-performance user interfaces while working closely with artists and designers. Your expertise in Unreal Motion Graphics and experience with AAA game development will help elevate user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on UI requirements with artists and designers
• Implement menus, HUDs, and interactive components
• Optimize UI performance for smooth user interaction
• Integrate UI elements with gameplay mechanics
• Troubleshoot and debug UI issues efficiently
Requirements:
• Strong experience in video game development with C++
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven experience shipping game projects
• Familiarity with Unreal Motion Graphics and Unreal Engine
• Prior work on UI design for games
