Software Development Engineer II in Oracle Database

The Oracle Database@AWS team seeks an experienced SDE II who will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable database services in the cloud. You will lead projects from requirements through deployment while ensuring collaboration with product managers and other AWS teams. Mentoring junior engineers and engaging in system architecture will be essential parts of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement distributed systems for Oracle database services

• Manage end-to-end delivery of product features

• Work closely with product management and engineering teams

• Engage in system architecture and technical excellence initiatives

• Provide mentorship to junior software developers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience

• At least 2 years in design or architecture roles

• Experience with a programming language

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field preferred

• Knowledge of complete software development life cycle
