Position: Salesforce Senior Software Engineer Role
Join Salesforce as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the innovative Kafka-as-a-Service platform fueling real-time data pipelines. This role emphasizes strong distributed system skills and Kubernetes expertise.

As part of the Ajna team, you will engage with ambitious engineering challenges across commercial and Gov Cloud environments. You will leverage your knowledge in Java, maintain Kubernetes-based applications, and play a key role in the on-call rotation to ensure system consistency and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate workflows for cloud resources with Terraform

• Build and operate distributed systems across multiple clouds

• Engage with open source technologies like Spinnaker

• Develop performance-driven Java microservices

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues

Requirements:

• 2-5+ years as a backend software developer

• Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Stateful Sets

• Understanding of critical monitoring and alerting systems

• Technical degree in a related field necessary
