Join IBM Software as a Senior Software Engineer in the Developer Productivity team. Focus on building and improving internal platform services and enhancing developer experience in a cloud environment.
This role is tailored for a motivated engineer passionate about platform services and complex systems. As part of the Developer Productivity organization, you'll design, implement, and operate multi-tenant services that support hundreds of engineers. Your expertise will help shape solutions to boost engineering velocity and improve overall reliability in production and pre-prod environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and operate secure, scalable platform services
• Automate performance testing and model stress scenarios
• Explore AI-assisted workflows and evaluate new tools
• Deliver collaborative projects from inception to rollout
• Contribute to team culture through mentoring and documentation
Requirements:
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java or Go and a scripting language
• Strong communication skills and mentoring experience
• Proven on-call and incident response capability
