Title: Dash Developer (UI/UX Focused
- Analytics Dashboards)

Duration: 6-9 months contract (possibility of extension or conversion)

Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week, peak periods heavier)

Location: Vancouver-based preferred (Hybrid: 1-2 days/week onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Dash Developer with strong UI/UX expertise to design and build high-quality analytics dashboards on Dash Enterprise. This role is critical to a high‑visibility, company‑wide dashboard initiative. The focus is on usability, performance, and intuitive design, not just writing code. You will work closely with business stakeholders and data scientists to translate complex data into clear, effective, and fast dashboards used by leadership and operational teams.

• Design and develop interactive dashboards using Dash & Plotly.
• Own UI/UX decisions for analytics applications.
• Build production‑ready dashboards with strong performance and responsiveness.
• Rapidly prototype directly in Dash (no heavy static mockups).
• Translate business needs into effective dashboard layouts and features.
• Integrate Dash applications with Databricks (all backend logic lives there).

• Strong Python development experience
• Hands‑on experience with Dash and/or Plotly (or similar analytics UI frameworks)
• Proven experience building data‑intensive dashboards
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices for analytics
• Experience working with large datasets
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Comfortable working in an agile, collaborative environment

• Experience with Databricks
• SQL proficiency
• Experience with finance, industrial, or IoT data
• Exposure to Dockerized environments
• Front‑end framework experience (React/Angular) as a bonus, not required
