Senior Full-Stack Developer — AI-Native Development

Full-time | 3-month contract | Remote in Canada/US

Location: Must be based in a North American time zone. Canadian candidates preferred.

M0ther.ai is an AI-native software development and technology consultancy. We build and support production web and mobile products using modern cloud infrastructure and AI-native development workflows.

We’re looking for a senior full-stack developer for a full-time, three-month contract working on an established production platform across web, iOS and Android.

This is a senior software engineering role where AI-assisted development is a core part of the workflow.

We are looking for a strong senior developer who already uses Claude Code or comparable agentic coding tools as part of their day-to-day development process and knows how to use them to move faster without sacrificing engineering judgment, maintainability or code quality.

You should already be a strong developer without AI. The expectation is that AI materially increases your output rather than compensates for gaps in fundamentals.

The work

You’ll work on an existing production application and take features from requirements through implementation and release.

The role spans frontend, mobile, backend, integrations and cloud work, including:

• Feature development across React and React Native
• Backend services and APIs
• Database changes and integrations
• Third-party service and API integrations
• AWS infrastructure and Lambda
• Debugging and production support
• Testing, code review and deployment
• iOS and Android release workflows, including Test Flight, App Store and Google Play
• Refactoring and improving existing systems

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable owning meaningful pieces of work rather than waiting for highly detailed tickets.

You should already be comfortable using tools such as Claude Code for:

• Navigating and understanding large existing codebases
• Implementing features across multiple parts of the stack
• Debugging and root-cause analysis
• Refactoring
• Test generation and validation
• Code review and analysis
• Planning and executing larger development tasks

We are less interested in whether you’ve “used AI” and more interested in how deeply it has changed the way you develop software.

Contract

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week
• Initial 3-month contract
