As part of Arista's EOS team, you'll collaborate with top engineers to build features for the Linux-based network operating system. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals and an understanding of networking principles, including L2 and L3 capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
• Write functional and design specifications for network features
• Implement solutions for small-sized EOS software problems
• Create automated test plans for new features
• Debug issues from automated test results
• Collaborate with support engineers to resolve customer network problems
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in CS/EE/CE + 8 years experience, or MS + 6 years, or Ph.D. + 3 years
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
• Familiarity with UNIX or Linux
• Understanding of IP routing protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
