In this role, you’ll be a vital player at Netflix Animation Studios, shaping pre-production processes for immersive animated films. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting complex technical issues, developing tools, and collaborating closely with creative teams to align technology with artistic goals. Finding innovative solutions and ensuring the effectiveness of pre-production operations will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support technical direction for pre-production craft groups
• Design and develop maintainable high-quality code
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with TDs and Software Engineers on initiatives
• Actively drive QA and technical testing of new tools
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in pipeline TD roles
• Proficient in Python and GUI toolkits like Py Qt
• Familiarity with Maya, Avid, and other relevant software
• Degree in Animation, Film, or related field
• Extensive knowledge of production tracking tools like Shot Grid
