In this role, you'll contribute to the RDS for Oracle team by designing and implementing high-performing features for managed database services. You'll engage across the tech stack, optimizing kernel-level operations and APIs while ensuring enterprise requirements are met. Collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholders, you'll shape innovative technical solutions that drive success in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design large-scale distributed database systems using RDS for Oracle
• Optimize performance for high availability and scalability
• Collaborate on solutions with stakeholders and account managers
• Participate in agile development to deliver new features
• Develop monitoring tools for large database performance management
Requirements:
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of system design and architecture knowledge
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred
• Demonstrated experience with development life cycle processes
