As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will own complex projects while balancing hands-on coding with technical guidance. You will work directly with product and customer teams to align engineering with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Build backend systems focused on scalability, performance, and reliability
Own large, complex projects from planning through deployment
Collaborate with product and customer teams on business needs
Guide technical direction while continuing hands-on coding
Help shape Canals as it scales with customers
Requirements:
Senior-level backend engineering experience building scalable systems
Experience building high-performance backend systems
Independence in fast-paced, product-focused environments
Ownership of deliverables and high-quality project delivery
Ability to guide engineers through reviews and feedback
Bring backend scalability, project ownership, and technical guidance to Canals’ growing automation and AI platform.
