As Manager, Software Engineering, you will support the Jobs Team within Jobber’s SP Operations group. You will help deliver reliable, high-performing tools for scheduling, managing work and crews, and understanding business health. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Coach engineers through goals, one-on-ones, feedback, and mentoring
- Lead teams delivering quality software on time
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and engineering process improvement
- Remove roadblocks and establish guardrails for delivery
- Collaborate with Product, Business Technology, and engineering leaders
- Established software engineering and leadership experience
- Strong full-stack technical, design, and architecture background
- Ability to deliver impactful projects on time
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Comfort with AI tools and augmented development rhythms
