We are looking for Part-time Lifeguards/Swim Instructors with availability to work a minimum of eight (8) hours per week as scheduled. Must have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Competitive starting hourly rate with an increase after six (6) months and one (1) year of service plus additional pay for group/private lessons

Responsible for the safety and instruction of Club Members and Guests using the Aquatic and Spa facilities during Swim Lessons, General Swim times, and Special Events

First responder in case of an emergency, providing first aid as needed throughout the entire Club

Teaching swimming lessons, working with students of all ages

Perform maintenance and related work as required

National Lifeguard Certification – Pool Option

Current Lifesaving Instructor and Aquafit Instructor an asset

Standard First Aid, CPR-C certification

Intermediate First Aid – to be obtained within 3 months of employment

Must possess sound knowledge of rules and regulations governing safety in an indoor Aquatic/Spa facility

Minimum of 1-year experience instructing the Red Cross Swim Program or equivalent

Knowledge and practice of Lifesaving, Lifeguarding, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and First Aid

Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of service situations in a busy Aquatic facility
