Procedural Asset Technical Director

As a Technical Director at PAFXTD, you will apply your over five years of experience in animation or VFX industries to enhance artist workflows and develop cutting-edge tools. Your technical acumen will be vital in maintaining production quality, optimizing assets, and collaborating with a diverse team. You will lead by example, guiding technical decisions and mentoring newcomers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Suggest and design technologies to meet production needs

• Track, debug, and resolve critical workflow challenges

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation

• Create synergies among various work groups for optimization

• Mentor junior technical staff and support their growth

Requirements:

• 5+ years of pipeline TD experience in animation or VFX

• Proficient in Houdini, Maya, Nuke and Python scripting

• Comprehensive understanding of artist workflows and technology

• Educational background in Animation or Computer Science

• Basic C++ knowledge is an asset
