Coordinate the activities of the ocean export department to ensure courteous and efficient customer experience while maintaining a competitive cost structure for both CEVA Logistics and our clients. Keep clients informed of the status of their shipment.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Receive orders from clients after analyzing their needs.
- Make reservations with shipping lines.
- Verify documents (B13, commercial bill, certificate of origin, credit letter, permit, etc.) to ensure they conform to customs regulations at origin and at destination.
- Open shipment files and enter data in the operational system according to the company’s ISO standards.
- Update events in the CARGOWISE system.
- Organize shipments and deliveries according to reservations.
- Transmit notices and documentation to the client, overseas agent or recipient.
- Keep shipment files and overseas client/agent information updated.
- Invoice clients and ensure that all charges for services rendered are included and that rates are billed according to the agreement (renegotiate rates to increase profitability).
- Issue nonconformity notices and customer complaints in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Track shipments to destination, including transfer of shipments.
- Other duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.
- 2–3 years of relevant post‑secondary education or experience.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to manage own time and workload to meet internal and external expectations.
- Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and team‑working skills.
