Cypress Coach Lines is seeking experienced Bus Drivers for our busy seasonal operations. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for flexible scheduling with the potential to transition to full-time employment.

• Operate buses, school buses or streetcars to transport passengers safely
• Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops
• Collect fares and record transactions
• Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
• Load and unload vehicle
• Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures
• Deal with public in a professional and courteous manner
• Complete logbooks and reports
• Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Education:

No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience:

5 years or more of professional driving experience

Language:
English

Availability:
Must be available for all of June, July, and August

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than 24 passengers)
• Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or
  
  C)
• Valid driver's licence with clean driving record
• Driver's abstract required

• Tour and charter bus driver experience
• Local and regional transportation experience

• Attention to detail
• Hand-eye coordination
• Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
• Comfortable with extended periods of sitting
• Frequent or constant travel required
