Responsibilities
Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments of goods.
Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing goods for shipment according to company standards.
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
Conducting routine inventory counts and assisting with stock rotation and inventory reconciliation.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Following all safety procedures and protocols in compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and internal safety policies.
Reporting any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Assisting in loading and unloading trucks and supporting the logistics team as needed.
Maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned working place, including the area they may use.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Familiarity with inventory systems or scanners is an asset
Forklift certification is an advantage (but not mandatory)
Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-focused
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday
Occasional weekends or overtime based on business needs
