Position: YVR Airport Operations Dispatcher Needed
Be a vital part of Vancouver Airport (YVR) as an Airport Operations Dispatcher! This full-time role combines strong situational awareness and operational coordination to ensure safety and efficiency in a bustling airport environment.

Reporting to the Operations Centre Manager, you’ll utilize various communication tools while overseeing emergency dispatch and daily operations. Candidates should demonstrate at least two years of dispatcher experience, complemented by relevant aviation knowledge. The ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor alarm and dispatch systems for real-time operations

• Coordinate with airport staff and external agencies

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in Maximo

• Keep abreast of all Standard Operating Procedures

• Manage public inquiries via calls, emails, and social media

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in dispatch or related fields

• Command of the English language;
French is an asset

• Proficient with various computer systems, including Maximo

• Strong decision-making skills under pressure

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
