Traffic Controller Position

Secure the Traffic Controller position with Wright Tree Service of Canada in Vancouver, British Columbia. This full-time role pays between $20 and $26 per hour, with a focus on traffic safety and management.
As a Traffic Controller, you will actively manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic at work sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and minimal disruption. Candidates are encouraged to have a Traffic Controller Person (TCP) certification and a valid Class 5 driver's license. Effective communication and an ability to work in a team environment are key attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and control traffic at work locations

• Implement safety protocols and monitor site conditions

• Set up traffic signs and barriers in accordance with regulations

• Provide clear directions to the public regarding detours

• Document activities and any traffic issues encountered
Requirements:

• Traffic Controller Person (TCP) certification preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record

• Ability to operate tools in demanding environments

• Willingness to work overtime and on-call during emergencies
