Transportation Support Worker

Make a difference in Vancouver as a full-time Transportation Support Worker, dedicated to providing safe transport for children and youth. Your efforts facilitate crucial family connections during visitation.
In this role, you'll report to the Integrated Services Lead and work closely with social workers to ensure that children reach their visitation sites safely. Your responsibilities will include managing transportation logistics, documenting interactions with families, and maintaining vehicle safety compliance to support vulnerable clients. Your organizational skills will be vital to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review drive requests and coordinate transportation services
• Ensure safe driving practices during transport
• Communicate with team members about transportation logistics
• Document transportation details and interactions accurately
• Attend meetings and contribute to safety programs
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)
• At least 2 years of Class 5 driving experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with a clean record
• Background in a human service field
• Proficient in time management and organization
