Join Canadian Blood Services as a part time Driver Material Handler in Vancouver, BC. This essential role combines driving, equipment setup, and donor support to facilitate life‑saving mobile events.
In this role, you will be a key player in the Logistics team, ensuring safe transportation of blood products while supporting mobile donor events. Your responsibilities include conducting pre‑trip inspections, helping donors, and setting up equipment. A valid BC class 4 driver’s license and 24 months of professional driving experience are required for this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and transport blood products safely
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections
- Assist donors in booking and rebooking appointments
- Set up systems for mobile events
- Load/unload equipment and supplies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid British Columbia class 4 driver’s license
- Minimum 24 months of driving experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
