Join Summit Air in Yellowknife as a licensed M1/M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Work on diverse aircraft and enjoy a structured onboarding experience.
This role requires a candidate with a valid Transport Canada AME licence and at least one year of experience on large aircraft. Responsibilities include maintaining aircraft in compliance with regulations, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior AMEs. You will work closely with the Maintenance Controller to ensure efficient operations, contributing to our commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and repairs on the aircraft fleet
• Sign maintenance releases according to regulations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices
• Participate in quality assurance programs
Requirements:
• Valid M1 and/or M2 AME licence
• Minimum one year working on multi-engine aircraft
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems and documentation
• Self-motivated with team collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s licence
