The Vancouver Airport Authority is looking for dedicated individuals for full-time positions in its Airfield Operations Department. The selected candidates will play a vital role in maintaining airfield safety through inspections, equipment operation, and proactive management of airside conditions. The position is integral to facilitating smooth airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and asphalt/concrete repairs on airside

• Control FOD and operate essential heavy equipment

• Maintain drainage systems and road safety structures

• Assist in emergency operations and special airfield projects

• Support snow and ice control with appropriate equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of related experience with a high school diploma

• Competence in operating heavy tools and equipment safely

• Strong judgment and communication skills essential

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with necessary endorsements

• Commitment to fitness maintenance and security clearances
