Boeing 737 MAX First Officer; Non-Type Rated

Your mission

Operate the Boeing 737 MAX safely and efficiently in a multi-crew, high-performance environment. You’ll collaborate closely with your Captain and cabin crew, uphold SOPs, and deliver a consistent, guest-focused experience across a wide-ranging route network.

• TCCA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
• Valid Class 1 Medical
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
• Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) before completing Initial Ground School
• Ability to travel unrestricted to all West Jet destinations (any required visas and/or travel documents are the sole responsibility of the candidate)
• Clear criminal record and background check
• Successful completion of a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening test

• Minimum 500 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time and multi-crew experience
• 3,000+ hours total flight time
• Jet or turbo-prop experience in a 705 operation
• Previous West Jet Group experience
• Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications and experience will be given preference

No 737 type rating? No problem. Type training is provided, including ground school and simulator phases, to ensure you meet company and regulatory standards for safe, confident operations on the 737 MAX.
