Enhance delivery operations as a Delivery Assistant in Sauble Beach, Ontario. This role is centered on safe product handling and supporting drivers during deliveries.
As a Delivery Assistant, you will help ensure smooth and courteous deliveries by aiding drivers and managing product loading and unloading. You will also maintain good housekeeping in delivery areas and assist in vehicle parking. Occasional direct contact with customers will enhance service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with loading and unloading ice products
• Support drivers in safe delivery operations
• Clean and maintain the delivery vehicle area
• Guide driver during parking and backing maneuvers
• Count and manage returned products
Requirements:
• Experience in counting and delivering products
• Preferred high school diploma
• Strong dedication to ethics and safety standards
• Physical fitness to handle heavy weights up to 1000 lbs
• Ability to read safety and procedure documents
