Position: Public Works Grader Operator Role
BEARDY'S & OKEMASIS CREE NATION seeks a skilled Road Grader Operator for public works. Leverage your heavy equipment expertise to maintain community roads effectively.

In this role, you will be responsible for essential road maintenance tasks including grading, snow removal, and ensuring safety in operation. Your mechanical aptitude will be key in identifying and solving equipment issues. The position requires performing regular inspections and documenting maintenance activities to uphold road quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain gravel and access roads using motor grader

• Grade roads for improved surface conditions

• Address wash boarding, ruts, and potholes

• Spread gravel materials for road construction

• Keep work logs of maintenance activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Certification in heavy equipment operation

• Previous experience (3-5 years) preferred

• Clean driver’s abstract and Class 5 license

• CPIC compliance required
