As a Driver at Sunrise Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in resident-centered care by offering safe transportation for seniors in your community. Responsibilities include assisting residents in and out of vehicles, performing regular vehicle inspections, and maintaining a clean transportation environment. Effective communication, time management, and the ability to handle emergencies are vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and timely transportation for residents

• Assist seniors with mobility devices and vehicle access

• Conduct monthly and pre-trip inspections of vehicles

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the transport vehicle

• Document driving logs and monitor resident conditions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED; 21 years or older

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• CPR certification may be required

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Comfortable with operating wheelchair lifts
