This role offers part-time hours, working up to 29 hours weekly. You will be responsible for driving a 3-ton truck, collecting donations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A strong communicator, you will interact with donors and represent the mission of the National Diabetes Trust in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect clothing and household items from designated locations
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
• Provide message cards and ensure donation tracking
• Return equipment and report any issues
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 or G license required
• 5+ years of driving experience needed
• Must maintain a clean driver abstract
• Ability to handle weights between 10-50 lbs.
