Snowbird Aviation has opportunities as a Ground Service Attendant within Wollaston Lake, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

Assist with aircraft taxiing procedures which includes aircraft marshalling and greeting customers.
Groom and clean all company aircraft and hangar facilities as required.
General maintenance of the passenger lounge, hangar, and outside grounds
Ensure the safe movement of company aircraft on the ramp,
Provide professional baggage handling and ground services to customers and aircraft. This includes loading and unloading baggage and cargo as well as coordinating appropriate customer baggage with the corresponding flight.
Operate and maintain all ground support vehicles and equipment (i.e., baggage carts, trucks, and van), safely and efficiently.
Service aircraft lavatory services.
Operate ground power units as required.
Perform ongoing duties including maintain commissary stock, passenger and mail pick-ups between the Snowbird client locations, stock from deliveries, administer the recycling and various tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills required to plan work assignments and meet simultaneous schedules and tight deadlines
Ability to lift 50 - 100 pounds carrying customer luggage and freight
Must be able to operate ground equipment such as Ground Power Units, Tugs, Belt Loaders, forklift, de-icing equipment and aircraft fuelling equipment.
May be required to obtain an "Airport Vehicle Operators Permit, Aircraft Radio license and Restricted Area Identity Card
Self-motivated and possess a mechanical aptitude
Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous internal applicants.

Shift Requirements

Shift will be rotational 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
Flexibility to work during the rotational schedule.
Accomodation arrangements will be catered for.
Transportation will be catered for from Saskatoon to Wollaston Lake.

As this is a Safety Sensitive Position, selected candidate(s) must test negative for controlled substances and alcohol prior to employment.

In addition to the base salary, this position will receive a market supplement. Salaries advertised include the market supplement.
