What we offer- Hourly wage: $38.23/h
- Shift premiums: evening ($1.50/hour), night ($2.00/hour)
- Comprehensive benefits (medical and dental) and pension plan

- Uniforms and equipment provided (boots, safety glasses, helmet, gloves)
- Free parking, locker rooms, showers, and cafeteria
- 5 personal days and up to 10 sick days
- Ensure the safe movement of locomotives and train consists within and around the Maintenance Centre
- Operate and position locomotives in accordance with safety rules and procedures
- Perform general cleaning of locomotives and work areas as required
- Carry out other related duties to support maintenance operations
- High school diploma required
- Valid driver’s licence (Class 3 is an asset)
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of CROR (Canadian Railway Operating Rules) and experience in transportation, mechanical work, or the railway industry (asset)
- Permanent position (40 hours per week)
- Variable schedule (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays)
- Overtime available
