Our Client in Burnaby, B.C. is looking Warehouse or Forklift Operators to add to their Team!

• Positions:
Forklift Operator / Inbound Receiving

• Type of Forklift:
Cherry picker/order picker an fall protection certificate.

• Type: 5 week or longer assignment for a forklift operator

•

Location:

Burnaby, BC

• Pay:
Forklift $22.50/hour or Warehouse $19.50/hour

• Shift: Day 7:30am to 4:00pm, M-F (other shift times available)

• Criminal background check required

Job Responsibilities :

• Safely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting, labeling, putaway, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products using industrial machines.

• Operate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping.

• Resolve exceptions in order fulfillment due to stock discrepancies, order processing errors, damaged products, carrier changes, etc.

• Follow lock out and tag out procedures for powered industrial equipment.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements.

• Work collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements.

Education/

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in a fast-paced and physically active job.

• Experience with industrial machines, like order picker, forklift, pallet jack, etc.

• Ability to speak and understand written and spoken English.

• Comfort working on your feet while working on or around moving equipment and elevated stations.

• Lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder heights.

• Pass a pre-employment background check.
