** JOB DESCRIPTION
**** Compensation:** $23/hour  
** Job Summary
** This $23/hour warehouse role involves picking and staging orders, operating a
** stand-up counterbalance forklift**, and working safely in a cold/freezer environment while following all Food Safety, HACCP, and workplace safety requirements. The role requires lifting 50–70+ lbs., and weekend availability may be required.

* *** A 4:00 AM start time is mandatory**, so candidates must be reliable and consistently able to arrive on time and ready to work. * * *
* ** Responsibilities
* ** Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently in a cold/freezer environment.
* Operate an electric stand-up counterbalance forklift safely in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
* Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE in cold storage areas.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
* Provide assistance in maintaining workplace safety, including being a certified First Aid responder on shift.
* Ensure that any equipment being used is safe to operate at all times.
* Ability to follow directions.
* Comply with all Food Safety and HACCP regulations.
* ** Ability to be available to work weekends as needed.
*** All other duties as assigned.
** Qualifications**
* ** Standup electric counterbalance forklift certificate
** required.
* Occupational First Aid Certificate is an asset (OFA Level
1).
* 1+ year warehouse related experience (food processing, cold environment production) an asset.
* Completion of High School, Post-Secondary an asset.
* Trained in WHMIS, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP.
* Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with superior attention to safe work methods.
* Physically able to lift (50 to 70 + lbs.), stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, squat, repetitively for the duration of the shift.
* Can identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
