Accounting & Payroll Specialist

Target Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 annually
Location: Vancouver, WA

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting & Payroll Specialist:

• Process semi-monthly payroll, audit timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with payroll vendors.

• Prepare payroll tax filings, W-2s, 1099s, and required state and federal reporting.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliations.

• Record journal entries, maintain general ledger accuracy, and assist with month-end reporting.

• Prepare financial reports and support internal departments with accounting-related inquiries.

Qualifications for the Accounting & Payroll Specialist:

• Experience processing payroll and supporting general accounting functions.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll taxes, and general ledger activities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll software systems.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies accurately.
