You enjoy assisting with leadership and management. The Assistant Business Office Manager acts as support to the Business office manager in the community in all aspects. The ABOM supports reporting completed by the BOM and assists in new hire onboarding and offboarding paperwork and document processing.
What You'll Do- Supports the Campus Business Office Manager for 2 campus communities
- Supports the Campus Business Office Manager by collecting billing data to assist with reporting
- Supports coordinating vendor bills from department heads
- Supports with calls on unpaid accounts to inquire about payment
- Handle calls from vendors and responsible parties regarding invoices and payments
- Assists in processing health insurance paperwork
- Assists in processing workman's comp claims and processing terminated employee files
- Assists in processing and maintaining all employee records and files including but not limited to first aid training, CPR, training documents, etc
- Provide administrative support for the community through the direction of the Campus Business Office Manager
- Prepare and be involved in new hire orientation
- Other duties as assigned
- The assistant business office manager will act as the Campus Business Office Manager with all associated responsibilities as needed.
- Possess an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality; and must be congenial with fellow employees, residents, and the public at large Must be honest and dependable
- Professional in dress and presentation
- Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Detailed and teamwork-oriented
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and abide by our Drug-Free Workplace policy
