We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Body Shop Estimator to join our team. This position involves appraising vehicle damage, providing accurate answers to customer questions, and explaining repair needs in a clear and professional manner. Average monthly pay $8,000-$10,000

Body Shop Estimator Compensation and Benefits:

• Body Shop Estimator Competitive Salary: $1,500/month base + 8.5% commission on individual parts and labor gross profit
• Average total monthly earnings: $9,000+

• Paid Holidays:
  Hannah Motor Company offers at least 6 paid holidays per year to Body Shop Estimator subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.

• Appraising vehicle damage.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Writes up customers’ vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establishes "promised time." Checks with team foreman, if necessary.
• Obtains customer's signature on repair order; provides customer with a copy.
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day.
• Contacts customers and/or insurance company regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
• Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
• Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
• Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
