Overview
Jackola Engineering and Architecture in Vancouver Washington is seeking a Structural Engineer with an Engineer Intern (EI) Certification to join our full-service design team. In this collaborative role, you'll work alongside multidisciplinary professionals, clients, contractors, and vendors to bring innovative projects to life.
You'll contribute to a diverse portfolio, including office buildings, schools, multifamily residences, hotels, restaurants, banks, and retail spaces—plus other high-profile developments. Occasional travel to job sites for client meetings and site observations may be required to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities- Support senior engineers throughout design and construction.
- Identify and solve problems with a goal to provide relevant and constructable solutions.
- Work in a multi-discipline team environment to help develop and design structural concepts, systems, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with external suppliers, internal design teams, and manufacturers.
- Use various software packages to calculate gravity, lateral, and foundation loads.
- Respond to contractors during the construction.
- A bachelor's degree in structural engineering from an accredited University.
- Successfully passed the FE exam and possess EI Certification.
- 0-2 years relevant structural design experience.
- Autodesk Revit drafting experience.
- Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at a time.
- Self-starter who can work independently and be part of a team.
