We’re seeking a licensed civil engineer who is passionate about great design and strong relationships to lead infrastructure projects with governments and public agencies.
If you’re a licensed civil engineer who values both technical excellence and client relationships, we’d love to meet you. In this role, you’ll lead projects from technical design through client strategy, build lasting partnerships, grow a high-performing team, and make a visible community impact.
What You’ll Do- Lead large- and small-scale civil public infrastructure projects from initial concept through construction
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that lead to repeat business and new opportunities
- Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work on time
- Oversee and contribute to design development using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Micro Station
- Collaborate with the marketing team as a technical lead to win public sector work
- Mentor and grow a high-performing local team of engineers and technical staff
- Licensed Civil PE in Washington (or the ability to obtain within 6 months) with 10+ years of experience in public works design
- Strong communicator with experience presenting to clients and leading stakeholder conversations
- Track record of managing public infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable with both technical delivery and relationship-building/business development
- Skilled at guiding junior staff and creating a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
- Proficient in Civil 3D, Micro Station/InRoads, and MS Office
- Experience with public utility and transportation projects in Washington and/or Oregon
- Familiarity with WSDOT standards and funding processes
- Strong QA/QC background and ability to set quality standards
- A passion for mentorship and long-term client partnership
