Overview
Keeping our building clean and operational is vital to our success! The Facilities Team Member is responsible for maintaining the building and equipment functionality, including audio/visual, pinsetters, arcade games, kitchen and bar equipment, plumbing and electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and more. Every day presents a new challenge and an opportunity to keep Big Al’s in top shape.
What You'll Do- Be the repair wizard for everything from bowling lanes to kitchen stations
- Crush your to‑do list like a pro—fast, safe, and stylish
- Spot and report issues before they become problems
- Utilize both power and manual tools effectively
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment inside and outside the building, from the game room to the parking lot
- Engage calmly and professionally with vendors, staff, and guests—representing the company’s vibe
- Assist with opening and closing the building
- Practice safety first, second, and third—follow all equipment and guideline protocols

What We're Looking For- Proficiency with electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and carpentry—wire, pipe, tool, and 2x4 knowledge
- Comfortable use of Microsoft Office and quick adoption of new systems
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Strong interpersonal communication skills—able to liaise with coworkers, customers, and vendors
- A creative problem‑solver who thinks fast, fixes smart, and improves processes
- A safety‑first mindset that promotes a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Frequently lifting up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs; over 50 lbs only with team lift
- Repeating bending, reaching, and pushing motions
- Working in warm, humid conditions
- Exposed to loud noise, fun, and high energy levels
