CompensationDaily Rate:
This position offers an hourly rate between $52.00 to $55.00 per hour which equates to $2,080 to $2,200 per week (based on a 40-hour workweek).
Per Diems:
Lodging: $145 per day, Meals & Incidentals: $92 per day and Auto Stipend: $25 per day. Per diems and Auto Stipend are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,834 per week.
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate based on a 40-hour work week + Per Diems):
Between $3,914 to $4,034 per week

SummaryThe Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures by assisting physicians and clinical teams in a high‑acuity catheterization laboratory environment. This role is responsible for preparing patients and equipment, operating fluoroscopy and imaging systems, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. The technologist works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to deliver efficient, high‑quality, and compliant patient care.
EssentialFunctions
- Assists physicians during cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology setting
- Prepares and positions patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and proper imaging access
- Operates fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in compliance with radiation safety standards
- Maintains sterile technique and adheres to infection control protocols
- Prepares procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after cases
- Monitors patient status during procedures and promptly communicates changes to the care team
- Documents procedural data accurately in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements
- Assists with contrast administration and medication delivery per protocol
- Responds effectively to emergent situations, including cardiac and vascular emergencies
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient case flow and quality outcomes
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license required
- Fluoroscopy Certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
- Strong knowledge of Cath Lab procedures, imaging equipment, and radiation safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment
