The salary range for this job opening at Peace Health is $44.97– $66.97. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Details of the position:- This per diem position offers scheduling flexibility, plus a competitive hourly rate of pay and differential in lieu of benefits.
- Perform all routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
- Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, staff and patient. Evaluates patient for pregnancy and/or breastfeeding prior to exam as indicated.
- Operates computer and nuclear medicine equipment for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
- Prepares, calibrates and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol.
- Maintain records of receipt, dispensing and disposal of radioactive materials. Maintain records of equipment quality control, radiation monitoring and surveys.
- Performs other patient care activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned consistent with caregiver’s scope of practice, training, experience and license/certification/registration.

Required:
Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent - Minimum of 1 year prior experience preferred.

Demonstrated venipuncture competency - Required:
PACS/RIS knowledge - Required Upon Hire:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification by NMTCB and/or ARRT-N - Required:
Washington state Radiologic Technologist licensure - Required:
Basic Life Support through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
