Job Summary
We are hiring a dedicated Physician Assistant to provide primary medical care to our patients. The PA will work as part of a care team, delivering comprehensive services aligned with Sea Mar's principles and mission.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver quality, comprehensive patient services.
- Provide primary medical care in accordance with training, experience, certification, insurance, and licensure.
- Refer patients to specialists or other services when necessary.
- Prescribe and dispense medications within the scope of Washington State regulations.
- Participate in preventive health programs, including immunizations and disease prevention, with approval from leadership.
- Contribute to clinical affairs and work with administrative staff to enhance patient care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical records and paperwork.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday with flexible FTE options.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s Degree, licensed in Washington, and certified as a PA.
- Successful completion of an accredited PA program and certification (PANCE, NNCPA).
- Current DEA certificate.
- Uphold all vaccine requirements for employment.
- At least 2 years of experience preferred, community health experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
