Physician Assistant; Physician Extender

Job Summary

We are hiring a dedicated Physician Assistant to provide primary medical care to our patients. The PA will work as part of a care team, delivering comprehensive services aligned with Sea Mar's principles and mission.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with the care team to deliver quality, comprehensive patient services.
• Provide primary medical care in accordance with training, experience, certification, insurance, and licensure.
• Refer patients to specialists or other services when necessary.
• Prescribe and dispense medications within the scope of Washington State regulations.
• Participate in preventive health programs, including immunizations and disease prevention, with approval from leadership.
• Contribute to clinical affairs and work with administrative staff to enhance patient care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical records and paperwork.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday with flexible FTE options.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s Degree, licensed in Washington, and certified as a PA.
• Successful completion of an accredited PA program and certification (PANCE, NNCPA).
• Current DEA certificate.
• Uphold all vaccine requirements for employment.
• At least 2 years of experience preferred, community health experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
