Sr. Drupal and WordPress Administrator

AZAD is seeking a Contract Sr. Drupal and Word Press Administrator for a W2 Contract full‑time position Onsite in Austin, TX.

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Monday - Friday

Assignment Duration: The initial assignment length is 6 months with a high probability of being extended.

Compensation & Benefits: The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $40.00 - $45.00. Benefits include Co‑paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.

Summary:

• Design, develop and administer the agency's Drupal website and Word Press blogs.
• Participate in and provide information in cross‑agency work groups in the implementation of standard web page templates and enterprise usage of web applications including Drupal, Word Press and in‑house applications.
• Attend work regularly in accordance with agency leave and attendance policies.
• Comply with all applicable agency policies and procedures, including safety and standards of conduct.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

• 10 years of experience using PHP programming language within the LAMP or LEMP software stack to develop and maintain applications.
• 8 years of experience designing, developing, and administering enterprise websites, tools, workflows, custom themes and modules using a Content Management System (CMS) within a LAMP or LEMP software stack (refer to Other Special Requirements).
• 8 years of experience developing within common web development frameworks and extensions (Laravel, Django, Symfony, etc.).
• 8 years of experience with Drupal website administration and management.
• 8 years of experience with Word Press website administration and management.
• 8 years of experience and knowledge of the Linux operating system and CLI.
• 8 years of experience and knowledge of system development methodologies, programming concepts, computer equipment and operating systems, and development environment procedures.

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in computer science, information systems, or related areas of study.
• Recent Industry Certifications related to programming or web development.
• 8 years of experience using Python programming language within the LAMP or LEMP software stack to develop and maintain applications.
• 8 years of experience with implementing and managing successful information retrieval systems (Drupal Search, Solr, or other open-source tools).
• 8 years of experience with website administration and management using Drupal administration tool, Drush.
• 8 years of experience building responsive websites.
• 8 years of experience with AJAX web development techniques to create asynchronous web applications.
• 8 years of experience and knowledge of cross-site scripting and SQL injection security issues.
• 8 years of experience using ticketing systems such as Remedy or KACE.
