Job Mission

We are seeking an IT Operations & Systems Administrator to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations across the organization. This role supports approximately 150 users and 175 active devices by providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, assisting with business application administration, and maintaining consistent onboarding/off‑boarding processes.

Job Location

This is an on‑site position with an immediate start. Candidates must reside locally and not require relocation.

Travel & Hours Requirements

As‑needed travel to model homes in Southwest Washington and Portland Metro area is required, with occasional trips to Puget Sound and Boise divisions. Occasional after‑hours work may be required to support maintenance, updates or deployments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, managing help‑desk tickets and coordinating with the company’s Managed Services Provider (MSP) to resolve escalations.
  • Provide friendly, timely support for technical issues related to computers, printers, conference rooms, and business applications.
  • Manage the full device lifecycle, including ordering, setup, deployment, and tracking of company equipment.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and licenses across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD), and other key business systems.
  • Partner with HR to ensure smooth technical onboarding and off‑boarding for all employees.
  • Maintain and support SharePoint and Teams to ensure secure, efficient collaboration across divisions.
  • Help manage user access and licensing for business applications while coordinating with vendors to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Communicate IT updates, maintenance, and system changes clearly and proactively to employees and leadership.
  • Keep IT documentation, procedures, and internal knowledge bases up to date.
  • Assist with system updates, integrations and user testing.
  • Support technology and business projects through technical input, collaboration, and employee training.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with employees by providing clear, approachable, and empathetic support.
Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of IT support or operations experience in a multi‑site or hybrid environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD), and Intune.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
  • Service‑minded, patient, and enthusiastic about helping others succeed with technology.
  • Experience managing devices, permissions and access across multiple systems.
  • Comfortable working with Managed Services Providers (MSPs) on escalations and projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Newstar, or Build Pro) is a plus.
  • ITIL or CompTIA certifications are preferred;
    Microsoft 365 or Azure Administrator certifications are a plus.
