Position

Summary

We are currently seeking qualified assembly mechanics to join our team. Desired backgrounds include mechanics and millwrights with experience in marine repair, maintenance, or new construction applications, or in manufacturing, maintenance, or repair industries such as industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, farm equipment, or other fields requiring high mechanical aptitude and competence in integrated systems assembly. Essential

Functions And Major Responsibilities
  • Duties include installation of integrated system components including engines, drives, HVAC systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression, and others.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Must have own set of tools
  • Hydraulics and piping experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with machining is a plus
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Capable of carefully following engineering drawings and procedures to perform equipment installations
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
Education And/Or Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, carry up to 60 lbs., or maneuver objects; difficult objects will be lifted with mechanical means or additional manpower.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb.
  • Capable of working from ladders and scaffolding.
