The Clean Line Technician 2 performs tasks in Chemical and Clean Room environments to ensure manufactured parts meet customer cleanliness specifications. Responsibilities include processing parts through the Rough Clean Line, Chem Line, visual inspection, clean‑room packaging, and packaging. The role also involves maintaining chemical tank composition and handling hazardous chemical waste.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.
- Basic computer skills:
Excel, Outlook, spreadsheets. - Skill in reading manufacturing prints.
- Basic analytical skills to determine the best path forward.
- Willingness to wear latex and nitrile gloves, masks, chemical PPE, and/or cleanroom apparel.
- Successful completion of forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods on the production floor.
- Ability to grab small parts or hand tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Eligible to work in an ITAR environment.
- Pass drug and background check.
- Follow all safety and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment and meet part quality specifications.
- Use approved tools and chemicals to handwork parts to meet visual inspection criteria.
- Load multiple parts into baskets for the Chem Line.
- Perform incoming and final visual inspections according to documented procedures.
- Package and label parts in a clean‑room environment.
- Work individually or as a team to meet deadlines and production targets while following safety and quality standards.
- Create or update work instructions and other process documentation.
- Perform basic maintenance of area equipment, including preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
- Build chemical tanks, analyze chemical compositions, and adjust tanks to ensure specifications.
- Use forklift, drum lift, and pallet jacks to transport hazardous waste and perform basic waste treatment tasks.
- Use equipment to test part cleanliness and perform dimensional measurements.
- Perform basic assembly following procedure for various parts.
- Communicate with supervisor/manager about obstacles or issues and provide potential solutions.
- Offer ideas for continual improvement and assist in implementing approved ideas.
- Train and/or inspect work of lower‑level technicians and operators.

- Frequency of exposure to near moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles.
- Moderate noise level.
